DIY Spooky Fruit
I think I’ve got about one more year before my oldest reaaaallly wants to go trick-or-treating. Right now he can be bribed with things like this instead 🤣👌🏻
- Banana ghosts: I used the end of the banana to create a ghost shape and added a small amount of Black Ready to Roll Icing from Coles ($3.50) to create the eyes and mouth.
-
Grape and blueberry eyeball: Cut a blueberry in half and place one half on top of a horizontal grape. Top with a small eyeball decoration from Coles ($3.50 for container)
- Raspberry monster mouth: Use a very small amount of Black Ready to Roll Icing from Coles ($3.50) to create the mouth. For the teeth, mix a small amount of icing sugar and water together and pipe out of a sandwich bag onto the mouth.
- Strawberry rib cage: Cut a strawberry in half and use Wilton Bloody Bone sprinkles from Spotlight (link unavailable) in two rows of 4 to create a “rib” shape.
- Pineapple monsters: Cut pineapple into chunks and add two eyeball decorations from Coles ($3.50 for container)
- Treats: finish with a few lolly teeth from a bag of Party Mix and gummy eyeballs from Big W $3
