DIY Valentine's Day Love Cookies

V Day is a bit of a non-event for lots of Aussies, but there does seem to be a growing trend here to celebrate the day. I’ll pretty much get behind anything that involves me getting lavished with gifts (if by being lavished you mean getting a bunch of Coles flowers at 6pm) 🤷🏼‍♀️

You’ll know by now that I love my little Letter Press Set $3.85 Spotlight Stores. I decided to use these again to make a bunch of cute message cookies and box them up (look out for my next post).

Needed :

  • Homemade cookies, using the ‘Vanilla Snap Biscuit’ recipe from ‘Drizzle and Dip’ (Google)
  • Love Heart Cookie Cutters Set of 5 - $1.50 Kmart Australia
  • Queen Fine Foods Ready to Roll Fondant (white) $8 Woolworths (Australia)
  • Queen Fine Foods Rainbow Food Colours (Red) $3.70 @woolworths_au
  • Letter Press Set $3.85 Spotlight Stores

A Little Box of Love

This little love box is super easy to put together and can be filled with whatever you fancy ❤️

Needed:

  • Wooden Box with Catch $9 Kmart Australia
  • Glitter Alphabet Stickers $3 Kmart Australia
  • Tissue paper $1.49 at local craft store, also at Kmart Australia

Steps:

Stick your stickers on the outside of the box, place some tissue paper inside the box and fill.

Balloon

I had so much fun making these custom V Day balloon decals for Invite Me Shop ❤️ Nothing says love like a giant balloon declaration (and these ones are BIG at 90cm 🙌🏻) Check them out in-store on the day, they’re also taking pre-orders! 👏🏻
