IKEA Christmas Train Hack
I’ve been looking for a Christmas train for approximately 5 years. When Lach was a toddler, we bought a plastic one that was about $80, which broke literally within 1 hour of setting it up. To be fair, Lachy probably broke it. But it was so plasticky that I wasn’t too devastated.
I just wanted a plain, wooden, style Christmas train - not a heap of plastic junk or something that would cost me one of my organs.
So, I followed the advice of a wise internet meme and stopped waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel - I lit that bitch up myself 🙌🏻
This is much cheaper than a store bought train (total cost $47) and more fun 💫
n e e d e d :
- Oven Bake Clay x 2, $3 per pack
- Glue gun
- Optional: decal stickers. These aren’t necessary! But I made a few very small stickers, including 2 of each: “The Reindeer Express”, “Nice”, “Naughty” using my Cricut Maker machine.
